How many times have I wondered “How many secrets? ... and how many have never been told?” How many other times have I asked wondered how such a place is capable of fascinating and think of the tourist as he prepares his maiden journey to cross the threshold of time.
It is this threshold that attracts not only “regular” tourists, but VIPs from every walk of life, producers, writers, actors and journalists, inviting them to experience, be it for one sole night, the countless emotions that only Castello di Sorci is capable of evoking.
This brings me to the purpose of this book; one single volume that doesn't tell the thousand year history of the location, which can easily be found on the internet or in other excellent writings, nor the story of Baldaccio Bruni, that can be extrapolated from the lines of Machiavelli or from research done by historians and scholars, but about the stories, the fears, the testimonials of people, many of whom have now passed away, that have felt, tasted and experienced the fear of something indefinable.
